Nolte Kitchens White Handleless
The Brief
Our client had a particularly challenging space to design. The space was to be dominated with a beautiful staircase leading into the space. Without clever kitchen design the space would be in danger of being overpowered by the staircase and the Nolte kitchen itself would suffer.Following a visit to our Hertfordshire Kitchen Showroom in Cheshunt. The client chose Nolte Kitchens' matt finish Feel range in a handleless version. The client preferred a German Handeless kitchen as it would create clean fresh space which would look uncluttered.
Extraction was also a concern as the space did not have too many options into which an extractor could be planned. Also to be considered was the lack of tall wall space to work with when laying out the potential position of cooking appliances.
Designer Tips
After visiting the customer’s home in North London, it was clear that only a well though out kitchen design would achieve everything the client wished for.German handle-less kitchens are simple yet stunning. However, they are not normally installed in angled spaces. The area underneath the stairs was utilized for the cooking appliance. A pair of IQ700 Siemens cooking appliances were centred below the fantastic staircase.
The light cascades onto the Nolte kitchen space through large windows over the Blanco sink and Quooker hot water tap. Extraction issues were solved by installing a Siemens downdraft extractor and panoramic flexinduction hob.
Seamless worktops and open shelving further enhance the area accentuating the staircases warm hues adding an inviting tone to this functional space.
